Zen console messages
It’s a shame that console messages from GUI apps usually go unread. I just discovered the following profound koan in an xterm from which I’d run Firefox:

And to prove it, just as I hit Publish on that story, a new track started on DI Chillout which is usually on in the background. The track was quite good, so I moved that xterm window out of the way to see the artist name on XMMS. It was Koan.
